Pros

Schumacher pro spr1628 is comparable to axtra trickle charger. I have a 2 amp/ 6amp which does 6 and 12 volt. New model is an automatic model that adjusts the voltage according to the amount of charge required.

The lights have different colors and patterns which are useful especially when combined with the well designed instruction booklet. The significant one converse extremity, shines red and glimmers.

Cons

Also, the case is unnecessarily large which makes the unit very bulky. It looks very coarse.

I've had this on a battery that i'm 99% sure would've had some some draw on it, but the charger never reactivated to maintain it.

We've had our camper for 9 years but never used the battery and did not maintain it.

Price

For the price it would be nicer if the float/maintain function was certainly working.
