Pros & Cons
Pros
No more resetting a timer and worrying about over charging a battery. It is likely possible to switch out the jaws anyhow. Nothing came damaged.
This is the only charger/maintainer you should need for automobiles. If you are in need of steady power for programming or running diagnostic on vehicles & are tired of having to inhale carbon monoxide from running vehicles. Use it in an automotiv... Read More
It is also dual voltage even though it comes with the typical 3 prong us plug.
Highlights
Quality
Chrager works great, long leads and easy controls.
This a well made battery charger/maintainer , i love the fact that it senses the input voltage .
5 volts and it didn't draw more than 60 amps (this thing is rated for 70 amps continuous, so the x5 was within its capacity).
It does not drop the voltage more than 0.
Price
I'll increase my 4 stars to 5 if this thing makes it past a few years(lets not forget i paid 800$).
Packaging/appearance
I paid more intentionally paid more just for the peace of mind that the package would be boxed properly and it was!
Competitiveness
The schumacher inc100 100a 12v was the next choice.
The outlet is the standard 120v 15amp rating that we use here in the usa.
