You still need to consult the table printed at the bottom of the device to verify the passweak or weakfail indications because the exact conclusion depends on the battery cca which the device doesnt know

The device also doesnt know the temperature compensation that must be applied to the batterys cca value its in the docs

The same goes more or less for the charging and cranking tests it just displays the voltage and a passedfail if the voltage is out of normal

Most people know these voltages values already or they can be looked up easily so its kind of ho hum

But it really doesnt do anything that is terribly unique

That said simplicity does have advantages and it is nice to have as a sanity test in conjunction with small modern conductance type battery tester because this device puts a real 100a load on the battery which creates confidence in ones conclusions
