Even without reading other user comments about cooking of battery i would never have left the battery unattended during the process even though the charger is supposed to be automatic

During the process i could hear sound coming out of the charger on and off so i knew the charger was doing something to the battery

I waited for another 5 minutes and condition remained the same

I then made a decision decision to press stop button and possibly redo the whole process
