Pros

We think it's better than the typical trickle charger. It's about the best you can do without buying one of chargers that has wheels and is about the size of large luggage. Have suv and car and motorcycle so it comes in handy for all.

The unit automatically detects whether your battery is a 6 volt or 12 volt. Ran across someone waiting on a mechanic to replace their alternator. This is also much heavier built than most 6/12 volt chargers.

Cons

It is possible that the charger did some of the prep work and the alternator put in the final juice, but i highly doubt it because the unhooked voltage didn't change at all with use of the charger. If you try to restart it same results or it says bad ... Read More
