Pros

The sc1359 works perfectly. The instructions are not perfectly clear, but the controls are pretty user friendly. Itoutweighs much more than older models. Worked great. Definitely a wise purchase.

Light weight charger that puts out a genuine 15 amps on 12 volts. Need explanation of snowflake and speed boat icons.

Cons

Now it reads discharged batteries as desulfinated and shuts down. Yes, i know letting batteries run down completely is not recommended.

Quality

I have since charged all my batteries including agm, regular deep cycle, and auto and has worked well.

This is my 3rd schumacher tool i’ve owned they have all held up quite well for the amount of use they get.

This charger detects problems with the battery and man’s instructions have the meaning behind the code that it throws up.

The charger is very light weight, probably uses switching technology in the circuitry, definitely not transformer based.

Price

Went through a couple of no name $30 chargers for my marine agm batteries that got good reviews.

That was an expensive mistake on my part.

3 times the amount but money well spent.
