The charger charges your battery at 2 the first, at 3 amp, is intended as a traditional trickle charger. The voltage at the end of the process gives a good assessment of the state of the charged battery.

A query to the manufacturer was not answered. Ruined two batteries.

I use a deltran battery tender for my motorcycles and have not used this charger for them.

I end up forcing it to chage bewtween 15amp and 3amp setting.
