Use the slow setting for trickle or for your piddly little lawnmower battery. The led comes up with the charge voltage. This smart unit senses your battery's condition and delivers exactly the right charging rate.

None of the reviews i saw for any of the affordable chargers wowed me.

This charger is an updated version of the one i got 20 years or so ago for about $20 at a now defunct product return store.

Shipping

I used it today after it arrived and it charged my battery up in one hour fifteen minutes.

Competitiveness

I purchased this unit to replace a much older schumacher battery charger.

I'm saying everything being everything, all compared, i don't believe you can do much better than the schumacher.
