Same time and both have stopped working

I have a battery that goes to my horse trailer that runs the lights and when the trailer is not in use i hook it up to this trickle charge to make sure the battery does not go down or die

Its taken a battery i would have otherwise replaced and kept it going

I plugged it in and let it do its thing over night checked it in the morning and the green light is on indicating the battery is charged

The clamps are too easily knocked off or may fall off when unattended and that could lead to a dead battery upon your return

The green light came on after several hours and after a disconnect and then reconnect of the unit i got the orange light for a short time then the green light came back on

Only time will tell if it is actually trickle charging my battery
