My car sat too long thanks to covid19 and i ended up having to jump start it back in march

I thought i would good to go but less than 2 weeks later the battery was so dead i had to use the maintenance key to unlock the door

I could hear the car making some kind of bumping sound that made me nervous so i disconnected the charger and then disconnected the negative wire from the battery

The following day i checked and it was indicating maintaining so i disconnected it and went to hook the battery back up

Apparently the car alarm had been triggered which was what i suspected the bumping noise was but that didnt stop it from scaring the crap out of me

I have gone out in the cold gagrage several times and the bike started right up without any battery issues

I leave the ring terminals connected to the battery then just plug in the cord

I like it but it never changes from 95 charge for a brand new generator battery even plugged in for 24 hours
