Pros

It's much better than the single-speed huffy that i bought a few years ago. The only gripe i have about it is the skinny seat. It is noticeably lighter than our other bikes as this one is aluminum and the others are steel.

Assembly requires a lot of tools that i did not have (6 mm allen wrench? Came on time, easy assembly, the brakes are awesome. Arrived with nothing broke and no visible scratches or nicks.

And the fact that all of that was less than 300 bucks is mind boggling!

Yesterday morning, i noticed that the same bike was listed at $196 plus tax.

Shipping

Came early and was easier to assemble then my more expensive bike.

I found that i got to my destination in almost half the time than my old bike!

It arrived several days early and other than a broken reflector it was perfect.

Packaging/appearance

The website suggests rereading the instruction manual and going through the packaging to locate missing parts.

Some scrapes in the paint from the packaging not holding up during the rugged shipping process.

Competitiveness

Tires are great, height is perfect, highly recommended as a comparison to the trek bikes.

Other similar schwinn mountain bike models were priced in the mid- to high-$400's by comparison.
