Pros
The 360 degree dial is great for getting a good fit. The adjustable strap is easy to use. The chin strap is a little loose but the adjustable insert helps make up for that.
The helmet is so lightweight and breathable. The only thing i don't like is that some of the owl decals are stickers. It seems safe and i call it a win.
Cons
The design is horrific. Will not be using again. It's so extremely flimsy. Very plasticy. Returning it and getting better helmets from rei.
It's not very sturdy. But it is not secure, either. This seems to be very unsafe and also uncomfortable for the child. I have very little faith that this would withstand any type of impact, if it cracks from falling from about 2 ft. This helmet is uns... Read More

It is challenging to snap the chin strap under the jaw without pinching skin or getting the strap to loose

It was a very light weight helmet but my child would mess with it while i was riding and eventually the padding which is held in place with velcro would move and start to scratch
