The mongoose dolomite helmet has a 4. Out of 5 rating. Considering the ranking elsewhere on the internet, the value is superb. This helmet was the best option in this highly rated helmet.
All my commuting is by bicycle. My husband has a giro that runs $60+ new and i honestly like this better. You want drivers and other bikers to see it.
Cons
Helmet is not constructed well enough. The halo slides off the velcro and the plastic shell wobbles on your head. I doubt this helmet will fit my grandson for more than a year.
