And for the price, this bike exceeds expectations.
Few years ago, i had a $100 walmart mountain bike.
If you have never done that, i would suggest cashing out $1000 for a known brand at a bike store and they will tune it up for you.
Shipping
Both my deraileurs got bent during shipping (or were never installed correctly).
It conveniently ships within a few days.
But there are some risks in buying a bike that gets shipped to you rather than purchased from a bike shop (as explained below).

It came well-packaged and in perfect shape.
Packaging was great and the bike was easy to assemble.
Packaging could have been better but overall it was worth every penny spent on it.

Never considered buying a schwinn because i associated the brand with being cheap and old school.
I have had more expensive bikes in the past for cycling, and i noticed no difference in quality.

Pedal mechanism broke in the drive tain after about 40 miles so had to replace but even with that significantly cheaper then most road bikes

It would not shift into the big ring in front due to slack in the cablewould not shift into small ring in back due to slack in cablebrakes rotor in front needed adjusting it was dragging

The bike is excellent quality and good looking especially the wheels but it is going to need to be tuned up and adjusted
