Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

All of the "cheapo" parts (seat, brake levers) are easily replaceable.

The shiny body, the decals, and the overall style are all great eye candy. One weld on the bars is cosmetically flawed, but it seems mechanically fine. Very cool and retro.

Easy to assemble, start to finish about thirty minutes. Arrived well packaged and was very easy to assemble with a set of simple hand tools. Just have some allen wrenches and a simple adjustable wrench available.

It fits kids or adults once you adjust the seat, wouldnt go taller than 6 foot though. Great bike for an older rider.

Quality

Sturdy & a great size for 11 year old grandson.

The chrome is flawless, and almost all of the welds are well-done.

I have no intent of getting this thing airborne like back in the day, and for sure upgrade the seat and likely the grips and pedals too.

Beyond the one sub-par weld and the slightly wiggly lever, this thing gets straight a's.

Price

Price fluctuates alot on this bike 8-4-23 best look at price now while its down

Great bike for the money, riding it makes you feel like a kid.

Should of cost under two hundred dollars.

So if you buy it as a campground talk piece and pay under 2 bills for it.

Packaging/appearance

Arrived well packaged and was very easy to assemble with a set of simple hand tools.

The box was torn up, but the bike was barely scuffed.

Competitiveness

Edit: bought a nice kickstand and u lock from amazon and a very comfy schwinn brand seat from target.

I bought this as a neighborhood cruiser to follow my toddler around on his strider so i’m okay with the lower quality of all the components but it’s fun to roll and the hood

Assembly was very easy but the thread machining is noticeably cheap i was constantly concerned with a reverse thread situation
