It’s pricey but worth it. Future collectible. A little pricey. Very safe. I am slightly ocd and i like doing things perfectly.
Cons
Scratches in the paint, holes in the fabric, and a brand tag falling off is unacceptable. It's about 8lbs lighter than the krate, but that's about it. The bike has two different tires and the seat is not what was shown in the picture.
Highlights
Quality
Great sturdy retro schwinn takes me back to my childhood in the seventies!
Just like dad first bike but without fenders
Preassembly is substantial so you can quickly “assemble” but the bearings are not adjusted.
The bike is not on the light side, but if feels very sturdy.
Price
Is it worth 350 bucks - definitely not.
I purchased a new set of bearings for around $4 and reinstalled the pedal crank using new grease.
Competitiveness
Wheel quality is better than your average department store bike.
