The ribs will take four to six weeks to heal. The length is a bit long for me off my bike, but pretty good while seated on my bike. The leg is wide enough to accommodate most riding boots.

The material is solid denim quality. Kevlar weave is not scratchy at all, denim feels heavy and solid enough to offer protection but wasn't too hot to ride around in the cali sun.

The kevlar lining is full length and soft. It is neither excessively warm, nor abrasive. Myself, got no scrapes or road rash whatsoever.

Knee armor slot is low, starts just under my kneecap. They fail to protect my skin as they are intended on low speed (under 20mph) corner slide on gravel. Also, the knee pockets that hold the protection pads are too low for my knees, and i am 5' 10.
