The magnet portion works great, but unless this product is on a perfectly smooth and horizontal surface then the tape is not strong enough. Not good for textured dash boards.

    I put an extra magnet from the package on the back and it held on for a few months but finally the adhesive wasnt enough

    I liked it enough that im trying to replace the magnet and not the mount but if that kinda thing bothers you or if you dont like the idea of an ugly magnet on the back of your case probably best to go a different direction

    So before i even installed the mount i took a heat gun to the adhesive a hair dryer should work too then peeled scraped the adhesive off the bottom of the mount

    I then stuck 30lb 3m indooroutdoor mounting tape on the bottom trimming to size
