It's incredibly easy to detach from the base. Stuck it on with minimal fuss. Allows you to apply pressure directly to the base and minimizes weight.
Cons
The magnetism likely destroys the location sensors used inside the phone. The adhesion pad it comes with ripped off after "making it work" for two days. Weak magnet.
Super disappointing. Returned for a refund. Not worth replacing your original scosche.

One issue you will run into with suction based mounts is that they dont stick well to curved surfaces

Im still waiting for my proclip mount for my car but im worried that the magnet will overpower the doublesided tape that secures the magnet to the mount and peel the tape off and im also worried that the magnet wont allow me to remove the phone without breaking the phone mount or peeling the tape from the base as well
