Amazingly it works quite well. Ball joint is great as well. Loving it so far and will ultimately end up ordering another for my company car.
There is an adjustment dial which expands the tabs which are inserted into the slot. It hold it very solidly and doesn't move. My phone stays on very well, straight up and down or sideways. This product has good adjustability and stays in place well.
Photo makes it look like it has both a usb a and usb c outlet. Added bonus is the charging plug.
Cons
The clamp works well if not for the foam, which is bound to come off. The magnet is great but the clips wont stay on the air vent. There’s no thread lock (ie. The part that goes inside thecd port slips out from time to time.

Its a little difficult to use with my cars mirror is the back plate were redesigned to cover a wider area or grip multiple points using a spring system or even another magnet it would be great
