The magnet on the phone holder is so strong that it stick to metal plate so good that my phone does not even shake or move or slide from phone holder at all. Perfect solution paired with a mounting bracket from proclipusa.
Anf this is one of the better mounting brackets i've found. It swivels for horizontal or vertical. The magnet is very strong.
Cons
The pop sockets that are made as of 2023 no longer have the option of removing the top in the same way you could a few years ago. There needs to be an option where you can tighten the ball and socket area to make it hold the phone up. The adhesive is ... Read More

One issue you will run into with suction based mounts is that they dont stick well to curved surfaces

Im still waiting for my proclip mount for my car but im worried that the magnet will overpower the doublesided tape that secures the magnet to the mount and peel the tape off and im also worried that the magnet wont allow me to remove the phone without breaking the phone mount or peeling the tape from the base as well
