The packaging even had a wire color coding chart on the back.

Yes the pins are loose but it won’t matter when you connect everything

Many new stereos have ties to the brakes and transmission this adapter however does not have any wires for it so i still have to cut into the old harness and rig a line to the new stereo

The e36 and other similar era bmws have a really dumb harness from factory

It is a terrible design barely comes out of the dash super hard to take off and in general just a clumsy large connector that is super hard to reach
