Pros & Cons
Pros
It is very accurate, checked with concurrent use against my chest strap monitor. It has the capability of measuring hrv (heart rate variability) hope it's more durable than a chest strap in the long run.
Cons
The plastic casing itself is really the only thing keeping water out. Accuracy seems to be generally ok, but the spikes are unacceptable. Just cracked away & fell off.
Pairing to the iphone ios app is horrible. Can't hold its bluetooth connection to my cellphone nor to my tablet. Won’t connect by bluetooth to bike. While the units seem fairly accurate for an armband or wrist monitor they are not as accurate as the p... Read More
Scosche has terrible customer service. They also make you pay for return shipping. Terrible product. Destroyed package opening so basically a waste of 60 bucks.
These new rhythm24 models have a known defect. Main it uses a proprietary charger. Seriously poor design on the clip to the band.

Feels very thin, not solid at all, and feels fragile in my mind.
After 20+ runs with the chest strap connected to my venu, and the rhythm24 setup for recording the runs, i'm blown away.
Price
I got brand new watch which saved me about 5-10$ on top of the sale price.
Not a big deal but it would be a pulse.
The paid version is not outrageously expensive like some others, and provides greater range of data and manipulation.
Competitiveness
A number of independent websites pointed to the scoshe as one of the best armband-type solutions, and i agree with them whole-heartedly.
Also, no version can be used for ipad pro, even if you try to use the compatible mode like other apps did (such as garmin conne... Read More
Go back to the garmin connect app and open garmin devices, and then open sensors, and it should show up.
First, it’s big compared with the polar.

I was finding that my applewatch would sometimes not record my heart rate properly when i was working out so i went looking for an alternative

I find it to be more consistent than my applewatch and i can watch my heart rate by having the app open on my phone while i’m on the elliptical signaling whether i need to speed up
