The new mount has the weakest magnet imaginable. Might work better for smaller/lighter phones, but my lg g6 is apparently too heavy.

I must note that for some people this wont happen depending on where they glued the mount

You could say i glued it perpendicular meaning gravity is also pulling it down rather than if i glued it on top of my dashboard

You can remove it but its difficult and will leave adhesive residue same for the magnetic tabs
