Pros

The color is darker than the toyota silver, but that isn't a deal breaker. The plastic texture is a bit different but who cares? Matches metallic grey of center console dash.

Not a big deal though. Infact it's sits perfectly. The pocket even has a couple of handy holes drilled in the back. Fits well & looks like oem.

This kit is a much higher quality build than the free one. Replaces the proprietary radio-cradle in my truck. Perfect for adding an aftermarket radio.

Excellent fit on both the truck and receiver. Fit 2005 tacoma with no issues and holds head unit well, no rattling at all. Nice fit no problem with the install on a 2011 taco.

Cons

The kit was ok; seems and looks cheaply built. The color is way darker than my 2007 tacoma dash. Expected a bit more from scosche; the color is a shade or 2 off of the factory console color.
