I give 4 because i wished the sponge was thicker. I absolutely love these sponges but someone was definitely rushing during this batch!

It absorbs well and easily rinses clean. They still clean just as well as a regular scrubby sponge. This and magic erasers are the only sponges i use for cleaning.

Cons

As sponges go, they perform okay; but the smell they have is unbearable. I ran them through the dishwasher with cascade platinum - they still stink.
