The pad works well, so 4 stars even with the minor fitting issue.
So there is no sponge surface on this product.
Packaging/appearance
I found it’s easier not to put soap in the dishwand because it leaks.
I do not put soap in the dispenser.

The first set i got included the removable hole

With the removable hole this sponge will work fine with the old style one and the upgraded new style wand both pictured

My second order again from early march that was both shipped and sold by amazon came with the holes already cut out

They did not have the removable holes therefore they would only work with the newer style wand unless you wanted them to leak

I am assuming that scotch brite is only making the new style with the removable hole because of all the complaints they received
