Pros

It seals and protects your packages. The tape also provides a strong seal on all box types.

The tape is resistant to slivering, splitting, and tearing. This is the best 2” packing tape i have used yet. M tape is the only thing you should trust when shipping things.

Cons

The tape annoyingly lifts off of my bubble mailers. Barely sticks at all, is this some kind of joke? Selling tape that doesn't stick isn't what i expect from 3m.

Super sturdy, as it should be, yet i can still occasionally manage to tear it when i can't find my scissors.

Adheres well and thicker than regular clear tape!

The adhesive is almost too sticky (a good thing)!

Best price on this heavy duty plastic sealing tape.

I've gotten cheaper tape that was a total mess.

Amazon has the best price as well if you are looking for good packing tapes.

This is great shipping tape to use with a tape gun!

Excellent shipping tape & it's only one i use to tape seal shipping boxes.

If you do regular shipping, it pays to buy this pack of 6 vs.

I use it mainly for applying the shipping label to my amazon returns!

Packaging/appearance

This is the only packing tape you want if you are moving.

It is strong and the adhesive sticks well to packaging.

What can i say packing tape either buy cheap packing tape or you buy expensive packing tape you pay for what you get

Competitiveness

So after that i decided to buy just one roll of scotch brand tape and was very pleased with it.

We also had some off-brand tape and the scotch brand was absolutely superior in comparison.

I find i use less when using this brand because it is stronger than other brands.
