Pros

This is a fantastic tape gun, which i had purchased it years ago. It significantly reduces the noise from our favorite packing tape.

This dispenser is quiet, as advertised. It is extremely quiet compared to the old one. It's not silent, but it's dramatically better.

Cons

Shame on you 3m for lowering your standards. Not able to adjust the tension on the unit. The thing itself also looks 70s which is great because i love old stuff but it is noisy as heck!

Excellent tape dispenser it works wonders if you tape late into the night like i do only thing its a bit tough to pull out all the tape

Very easy to use and eliminates 90% of the horrible screeching sound that most dispensers cause.

The sound of tape peeling drives my husband crazy and now it doesn't bother him.

What that spindle is going is changing the angle and other aspects of how the tape is being pulled from the roll.

Price

Pricey, but has been very much so worth it

I thought i would try a one-time $20 purchase instead and i am so glad i did!

I pack packages from home a lot and it's surprising how much noise this cuts from a traditional tape dispenser.

If you or someone around you is noise-sensitive, and you do a lot of packaging, this can help quite a bit.
