You can buy twice as many rolls of another brand.
I was using sellotape made by sellotape to send parcels (reusing amazon boxes) but parcel tape is the better and thriftier option.

It is worth paying a bit more for quality i have bought cheaper tapes and they dont stick properly so boxes have to be retaped
