Admittedly when i first used it i didnt know any better and applied the tape asis with one black side and the other side that has a diffused clear plastic which kind of looks like molten snake skin

As i did this i noticed the diffused clear plastic covering one side of the tape starting to tear and stretch

As it turned out i needed to remove this diffused clear plastic so that the selffusing feature will activate

It should have been a noduh thing for me as without this diffused clear plastic the tape would be one giant fused blob as it arrived in a roll

The summers here get up to 100 f and the winters down to 35 f so the tape will get its fair share of environmental testing

This tape is selffusing so it only sticks to itself rather than the pvc pipe

It self seals by stretching it is waterproof easy to apply and will not come undone
