It doesnt have a lock on it and when cutting thicker things the blade can get stuck and if youre pulling or pushing while its stuck the handle will move but the blade wont so it extends

Its a thin blade though and not meant for larger things that should require a locking mechanism

Suitable for small hands like mine size 6 but a regular sized person would probably want something more heavy duty
