Pros
The ingenious part of this product is the positioning of the tape and paper on the dispenser. This makes masking simpler since the film is support beter with the blade cut. And i know this little masker made it possible.
It tears easier than the other 3 or 4 brands i have at home. It saves me a tremendous amount of time and hassle. I paint a car every so often and do a little collision repair and this is just what the dr.
Cons
The frame is all plastic and extremely flimsy. The tape runs off the edge of the paper within 12” from the start, so to tape anything of length you have to stop multiple times and redo the paper and tape and start over. The plastic flexes way too much... Read More
It is awkward to hold and use. This is the most minor shortcoming. This thing is garbage and only worked temporarily. It's virtually useless.

This is a great price on this tool!
For under $25 i'd buy it again in a a heartbeat.
In my case, i'm reviewing the blue plastic version that sells for under $30 as of today (7/14/23).
Overall a critical add for masking at a decent price 👌
Competitiveness
It tears easier than the other 3 or 4 brands i have at home, which makes using this easier.
We'll see if this scotch version works as well as the 3m version.

I did find as we got to the bottom 14 on some rolls of paper the tape and the paper started getting out of alignment

But for the price i guess thats what you get other than that build quality seems to be good a little awkward in your hand once you figure it out pretty easy

Works well probably not tough enough for a painter whos going to use it everyday and throw it around a job site

You stick a roll of masking paper on it that you can get at paint stores or one of the home stores and a roll of masking tape
