Pros

Big thumbs up. As the name implies, it's ez. Anthony trendlanthonytrendl.

Some of the grass seed i planted is in a shady area where water usually puddles if it rains a lot. The mulch holds the water so that the seeds have enough moisture all the time.

Mats for seeding without imbedded seed. Seems to work very well when spread throughout areas that seem to be thinning. Loosen some dirt, spread, mix.

Cons

Watered for two weeks. I'm certain those areas would be filling in now with just plain old seed and dirt and water.
