Scotts makes a difference. And the snap system is, well, a snap! This is a fantastic product and one that i will be using over and over again.
Scotts snap pack fertilizer spreader is great for small yards. My yard is now lush, green, thick and * free.

The spreader looks really nice but does not spread the seed evenly. The main reason is one of the two wheels only rolls when handle releases fertilizer. There is no spread application adjustment on the unit. Do yourself a favor and by a general spread... Read More
Product comes out very quickly at first, but slows significantly as the bag empties. It needs to be pierced to or the remainder will not come out. The prices on amazon for the snap pacs are also really expensive.

The lock on the front would not slide over and even after taking it apart and fixing the misalignment of the one tab i still have to be careful when unlocking not to complete unlock itor the one tab falls down in again

It was a little difficult getting the bag snapped in correctly at first but once it sat in the dispenser right it clicked right in
