It was easy to do (i already have a scott's broadcaster). This is a good product that performs as promised. It seems to have recovered okay.

The rake loosens up the dirt enough for the scattered seed to become deposited inside the ground. Dad always ensures the ground stays damp enough so that grass roots take hold. Apply a fertilizer specifically formulated for new lawns when seeding.

Cons

Buyers beware, if there is not an affixed sticker date on the back of the seed bag indicating when the see was made and when it expires, send it back. If you ask them to honor their grass seed guarantee, they end you with $5 coupons for scott products... Read More

The seed was lightly covered with straw during the first two weeks. Today the lawn is full of weeds. And this * is not in the yard where i didn't place seed.
