Pros

Scotts lawn soil can manipulate the dethatch or aerate. Compared to the original grass (tall fescue), it's blue green while the rest of the lawn is dormant or dead.

Kbg has coating to keep it wet longer so it will germinate faster. Takes patience and time to grow.

Cons

Only the circled are was seeded with scots in pic 2. But very few seeds germinate. I estimate that maybe 1:1,000 seeds sprouted.
