Pros

When to i think as soon as they are in full bloom. Overseed and patch if necessary in the fall. Be sure to check their website for info on when to apply in your region.

Cons

"this is the worst crabgrass i have ever had. My lawn is half this size, emptied the entire bag on my lawn using there spreader feeder.

Scotts products are big disappointment. Either it is restricted in my area or the seller * up.

Quality

We like the ability of this product to hook up to the hose and spray.

It is a month and a half later and my grass is a beautiful green with no crabgrass anywhere.

We have burr grass and it's painful for animals, it sticks to shoes and clothes and drops off in areas of yard if you don't check for them.

It was so bad last year that i had to buy an extra battery for for my mower just to keep up with mowing it down.

Price

The price has doubled in the past 10 years but it does work.

I really liked that this came in a box and not just a bag with a label slapped on it.
