Pros & Cons
Pros
These come to your rescue. They are maybe a little pricey, but make a tough situation a lot easier.
The strip is long enough to be clamped in position. One oddity, the teeth on the extractor are made to cut in the counter-clockwise direction. The screw extractor works pretty well.
Cons
Too expensive to be that fragile. Metal is very brittle and thin walled. Virtually useless, teeth snap off and the drill bit breaks with very little pressure!
Do not buy this junk. Good idea, bad execution. I wish i had read the reviews of others who had been as disappointed as i am now.
Highlights
Quality
It does it's work but very fragile.
I am satisfied with the product but as a subscriber to amazon prime, i did not expect to be charged $6.
Compare an unused model of the same screw with the extractor.
Packaging/appearance
One of our lawn sprinkler heads was cracked and spraying on the side of our tuff-shed door right onto the hinges.
) the extractor should fit the hole snugly.
