Pros

The sewn journal is well designed and sturdy. It comes with a purple elastic band to keep it closed. The nib holds up. The pocket is sturdy.

Numbered pages. This saves me the trouble of numbering them. Two pen test pages, also good for starting an acrylic pen. First page has a couple lines to personalize.

Each page has a small line instead of a dot both horizontally and vertically to mark where the half way point is.

As an avid bullet journaler i love all the scribbles that matter products. I appreciate the tactile, in hand, experience of writing and drawing in a journal. My only quibble is that the binding is not tight.

Cons

Paper is waxy and makes ink smear all over the page. Pages were also damaged on the lining.

Using an eraser leaves an odd, sheen on the paper. Ink takes forever to dry and smudges very easily.

Packaging/appearance

Adorable packaging, thick sturdy cover, two ribbon place holders and the paper is thicker than most i’ve found!

Did not arrive in the best shape due to the packaging.

This journal has thick paper that you can paint or draw on and the colors don’t bleed through to the back of the page.
