Pros

This is what makes this journal such a unicorn! This journal delivers! Definitely ordering another one for 2021.

The pages are a perfect size and the rows are reasonably spaced. There is a cardboard ruler of sorts which seems a little superfluous.

First page has a couple lines to personalize. Numbered pages. This saves me the trouble of numbering them. Pen swatching area in the back.

These are less spendy than some of the luxury brands of notebooks. It seems well made and thoughtfully designed.

The inset pocket is invaluable to me. I'm pretty heavy handed and the nib holds up. The cover wears well and doesn't get beat up in my backpack.

Cons

Using an eraser leaves an odd, sheen on the paper. Ink takes forever to dry and smudges very easily.

Certain pages are glued together near the spine, and therefore do not lay flat. The pages are more transparent and there is definitely more ghosting.

Packaging/appearance

Adorable packaging, thick sturdy cover, two ribbon place holders and the paper is thicker than most i’ve found!

Did not arrive in the best shape due to the packaging.

This journal has thick paper that you can paint or draw on and the colors don’t bleed through to the back of the page.
