Pros & Cons
Pros
The leather cover is a lovely shade of brown (somewhere between a hazelnut, medium cognac, or a well worn saddle). To me it feels/looks like a classic journal. Quality faux-leather cover and quality paper.
Paper stands up well to bullet journaling and personal journaling. Paper is thick enough that bleed through isn't a problem. Paper doesn't bleed or ghost with pens, markers, and highlighters.
I love that stm rereleased the smaller sizes. It pairs nicely with my speckled fawns a6 traveler's notebook. I wish that the grid was a bit lighter so that it would better fade into the background.
Other journals have odd measuring with the dot grid which irks me since i like well measured spreads. There are no tick marks on the top or bottom of the page or the center. I journal, with the occasional sketch in pencil.

Price
The 'pen test' and 'table of contents' pages are a nice addition that other notebooks that size and cost don't have.
Very nice journal at a good price.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is really cute so you can gift it to someone if you want to and it comes with a pen and a coupon.
Getting into the bujo trend and this notebook is great.
Competitiveness
This is still my favorite ever journal, though i'm excited to see the new 120gsm ones
If they keep this notebook, i will forever be a loyal customer.
That’s not to say that you can’t use those things in this journal, those are just the main reasons i see people choose 160gsm paper.

The 100 gsm pages are a little thin for gel pens

The journal itself is sturdy but the durability of the pages because of how thin it is for gel pens might be an issue

I am sure if you use other pens that are not heavily ink based it might work better for this journal
