I needed a card reader which could plug into an android phone oneplus one as i do a lot of development work on phones and so im constantly swapping files on and off the phone mostly i just connect the phone straight to the pc so this had not been used much maybe a couple of times and had sat on my desk at work for ages

One thing i feel it kinda lacks is the plug through option of plugging the phone in then using a usb cable to the pc so having this as the bridge between the two doesnt seem to work that way

Others have also reported it charging the phone whilst plugged in but im not sure ive managed to get that to work or sporadically at best but that may be a foible of the opo

To date i have backed up the all of camera cards straight to my tablets micro sd card which is not ideal
