They are used for metalsmithing. Use for filing on 3d prints. Works as expected, helping to enlarge a hole slightly.

Great deal for assorted files.

Cons

Low quality. They have clumps which create imperfections in the edges. Spend the money for real jeweler's files. Too uneven placement of abrasive material will not file evenly.
