When i was looking for a lamp post fixture that matched my sconces i had installed on my house and detached garage i wanted a regular lamp base or regular light bulb base fixture

However what i found was the vast majority of the fixtures i found that i liked were all with the candelabra type bulb base or the tiny base

They have bulbs in the cfl line for outdoor fixtures but most are with the larger bulb base

Despite this fixture allowing for three bulbs led bulbs at present would not be my choice

However in order to get a brighter output i bought three bulb base converter bases where by i can adapt the larger bulb base to the candelabra base until leds are offered in a brighter bulb with the candelabra base
