Certainly you can find less expensive dinnerware but they wont be as durable or as well thought out as these

Also they are not like the run of the mill silicone bowls and cups which are always floppy and likely to spill the integrated rigid rings and bottoms make them perform like normal dinnerware just a lot lighter and collapsible

They are not microwave safe but given you normally wont have a microwave when camping its not a big deal
