The material seems really robust as well and i can see this lasting many years through tough conditions in my pack.
This is a nice combo of sturdy, light weight and enough surface area to hold a meal.
The plastic it’s made from seems durable and didn’t scratch the first time i used it, even cutting chicken on it, so that’s a plus.
This plate is extremely lightweight, but it is not flimsy.

If money is no object, this is a great lightweight plate.

It will not nest in the skillet

Rather the skillet will nest in it and i cant take advantage of the skillet handle to secure the plate

Its a bit extravagant for a backpacking item but i got it for travel where it could easily be packed away and be used instead of paper plates during your trip

It doesn’t really flex in the middle like you think a plastic plate would

This is a pretty basic plate although that’s not to say it’s bad it’s well molded with no sharp edges and has a nice curved shape so you can scrape food from the edges

I have other light weight plates that are collapsible but flimsy and sometimes makes it difficult to carry without spilling or requiring two hands to keep it up right
