Basically the problem was how to set up partitions that where the partition boundary aligned with a physical sector boundary

So to align the partition needs to start on a sector whose number is exactly divisible by 8

Rods software suggests a default start of sector 2048 for the first partition and each subsequent partition needs to start on a sector whose number is exactly divisible by eight

Has good steady speed but is in the high speed test this was set as a windows storage space in simple mode with 2 harddrives for games has decreased load times however was a pain that windows didnt like it

I got 6 of the 8 gb versions

I avoided the 10gb becasue it has had historical issues with write caching perhaps fixed now by firmware update plu cost per tb was best with the 8gb models
