Pros
Each drive was sealed in an anti-static bag, which was encased in high density foam. I'm always lairy ordering hard drives online, because far too often they either arrive loose in a jiffy bag, or rattling around in a larger box.

No issues so far, works well with my asustor nas.
I bought two last year and they are now obsolete, so its either 22 tb capacity or 18 tb capacity.

They are quiet and very fast for hdds but they are built for nas (network-attached storage).
Price
Although these drives are expensive, they are very high-end tech, air-sealed in helium and not your everyday hdd's.

Easy transaction and shipped by amazon the next day.
16tb drive arrived quickly just 12 hours after ordering.
Packaging/appearance
The drive was packaged really well in a box with polystyrene cut to fit the drive and well protected.
Item came as mentioned brand new pack and very well packed .
Competitiveness
Compared to that, big file (12-20 gb ) transfers to/from ssd seem a little quicker.

Top tip dont copy the old drive to this if its sat in a usb caddy fit it internally and copy from the old disk in the caddy

Otherwise you end up with 34corrupt disk34 errors and have to do the whole lot again

Also the drive itself was in a sealed bag made to fit the drive size so was definately new and unused

Warranty only available in us according to them which shows in seagate website expired
