Seems excelletn value and quality and attractive plus easy to use
I've been using the back-up drive for several months on my macbook pro with the latest software.
I have a mac book air and the drive has to be reformatted with the apple products ,but once done it works fine.
Price
I use it a lot and price was good.
Packaging/appearance
I reformat them as standard hfs+ drives so that there is no extra driver software needed (they are ntfs format out of the box.
Drive worked well right out of the box.
Competitiveness
The internal 500gb ssd of the mini coupled with this 2tb portable is more than enough storage for my purposes.
Cheaper than purchasing extra memory through online storage companies.
It does not overheat even after transferring 3tb of data at once.
My second seagate 2tb portable drive - both run like a top!

It does not overheat which can be an issue with some other hard drives when running graphic intensive programs from them
